The book of the Revelation of Jesus reminds us that we need to know Jesus. We need to know Him as we see Him in the gospels, and we need to know Him in His power and glory. But it also reminds us that Jesus knows His church. Jesus knows us, and He knows what we face in the world. He knows the dangerous diversions that could keep us from finishing well.

This Sunday we will look at the first three of seven letters to specific churches. These letters have something to say to all churches, and I think one of these first three is especially relevant to us today. Which one do you think it is?
