He is a self-admitted fintech/payments OG. Jay dives into his experiences building OpenTransact from the ground up and pitching Jamie Dimon in 2002 where apparently Mr. Dimon referred to the fintech movement as “flies buzzing around my pile of s**t”. Bringing a Chinese payments company to market in the US with the current political environment while also bridging the gap explaining the US regulatory landscape to Chinese colleagues was no small feat.
