The Fianna was a mighty group of warriors that guarded Ireland for the high king,  who lived at Tara.  There are many, many stories about the Fianna, and we have met Fionn before, in the tale of how the Giants Causeway was created! Today's story tells us how another brave deed leads to Fionn becoming the leader of the Fianna, like his father before him.  There is so much to explore!
