Hey Dads,

I needed to cover a hole around my flu pipe in my attic after having an energy audit performed on our house, and so I bought a piece of sheet metal on Amazon, cut it to fit around the pipe and I’m using this high heat caulk to seal it around the pipe.

The energy auditor told me to get a high heat caulk since it is going to be placed around the flu pipe. This caulk is for stove and fireplace application. When you are using caulk around a stove or fireplace pipe, make sure that you use this type of caulk.
