The Holy Spirit - 16 May, 2021 - St Alban's Fulham

 

Jesus promises us a ‘helper’ – who is the Holy Spirit, but this third person of the Trinity is in many ways, the most mysterious. How do we recognise the Spirit? What should we expect of the Spirit? How do we, as the scriptures encourage us, live by the Spirit?

 

This teaching series attempts to answer these questions by unpacking certain imagery used to describe the Spirit, so that we might be encouraged and equipped to know God more and use the gifts that He offers us to live boldly as Christians. Finally, by looking at these images each week we hope to deepen our understanding of the Spirit’s work and develop a closer connection with Him and the rest of the Trinity.
