Adobe Firefly just became something bigger than an image generator β it's now a multi-model creative production hub with Runway, Sora, Veo, and Kling inside it. This week on Market Intel, we break down what that means for your creative workflow, budget, and AI stack decisions.
This week's stories:
π΅ Story #1 β Adobe Firefly Multi-Model Hub
Adobe updated Firefly, Express, Illustrator, and Photoshop to give creators access to partner video models (Kling, Runway Gen-4.5, Veo 3.1, Ray families), Image Model 4, text-to-vector, Firefly Boards, and audio/video translation β all from one interface. Key takeaway: model bake-offs are now possible inside a single workflow. Watch item: generative credit consumption.
π Story #2 β Meta Edits AI Assistant
Meta previewed an AI assistant for the Edits app that uses your actual Instagram performance data β views, retention β to power ideation and recommendations. Plus: multi-version testing, expanded audience insights, topic search in Inspiration, and 4K watermark-free export. The AI assistant is still in testing, but the live features are ready to use today (and Edits is free).
π‘ Story #3 β Descript Tone Tags + MCP Connector
Descript's June 11 release added Tone Tags for ElevenLabs v3 AI voices (direct emotion with inline instructions), concurrent AI media generation (up to 5 parallel jobs on paid plans), and an MCP connector live in Claude and ChatGPT β so you can edit projects, generate media, and trigger publishes through natural language.
