On July 30, WFHB welcomed Gordi, the Australian folktronica artist also known as Sophie Payten, for a Firehouse Session. In this special acoustic solo session, Gordi stripped her songs down to their core, showcasing the intimacy and honesty at the heart of her music.

On June 26, WFHB welcomed experimental folk musician Sam Amidon into the studio for a Firehouse Session. Host Abby Noroozi sat down with Sam to talk about his new album Salt River, growing up steeped in folk traditions in his home state of Vermont, and his life now in London.

Sam shared stories about learning to play the violin at just three years old, his deep connection to folk music, and how those roots continue to shape his art today. The conversation also touched on his partnership with folktronica artist Beth Orton, to whom he is married, and the ways their creative worlds intersect.

On June 13, WFHB welcomed Blue Cactus into the studio for a Firehouse Session ahead of their show that night at The Orbit Room.
