Vodafone Greece's Digital eXperience Layer, a microservices and cloud-based Kubernetes solution was implemented primarily using SpringBoot. The team has been migrating DXL over to Quarkus and running it in production for the past year. Dimitris Andreadis, Engineering Manager of the Quarkus team at Red Hat had a fireside chat with Christos Sotiriou, BackEnd Chapter Lead and Evangelos Gongolidis, Tech Lead at Vodafone, and discussed with them the problems they tried to solve, the lessons learnt and their future plans.
