Identity — Week 1

What defines who you are? In Colossians 1, Paul reminds us that our identity isn’t found in what we accomplish, what others think about us, or even how we see ourselves. For those who follow Jesus, our identity is rooted in Him.

In week one of our Identity series, we look at Colossians 1:1–14 and what it means to live as someone who has been rescued, redeemed, and brought into the kingdom of Jesus.

In John 3, Nicodemus comes to Jesus looking for answers, but Jesus shows him that what he really needs is new life. Religion can’t give us new life, we can’t give it to ourselves, but Jesus can.
