It's part 1 of our S2E6 rewatch of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.

First Blood is Roxy's favorite episode of the season, everything from the mood and ambiance, all the way up the the explosive ending. Scarlett is excited for the run of episodes leading up to the season 2 finale. And Margery loves the cohesion of the episode as a whole from the way it was shot to the converging of all the story lines in the present and how the flashbacks tie in nicely with these events.

In this episode we spend a lot of time discussing what is motivating Serena and June's actions. We also frame a lot Eden's story line through what we have learned from The Testaments, so if you haven't read it yet, now is a good time to get on that before season 4 drops.
