What could possibly be more exciting than growing industrial hemp? How about an auction to sell 1 million pounds of hemp biomass! 

Mark Case, CEO of the International Hemp Auction and Market, plugs the first ever international “Hemp Auction.” Billed as ‘The Hemp Event of the Year’ the event is being held in Franklin, TN from Nov. 19-21st. 

HempLogic founder Cory Sharp and Exec VP of Sales John “the Tooch” Tucci, discuss with Case how his auction can act as a life raft for hemp farmers with no buyer for their product. Modeled after the traditional “tobacco auction,” Case got the idea to hold the auction in response to the unprecedented amount of hemp farmers with no buyers for their biomass. The auction will list biomass, smokable flower, CBD, isolate, crude, CBG and even mother plants and clones. 

With a goal of selling one million pounds of biomass and 175,000 sq. foot coliseum ot hold it in, Case believes the auction will give hemp farmers the opportunity ‘sell their product to the highest bidder” and remove expensive middle-man brokerage fees. The auction, which will be open only to industry buyers and sellers, will be held in conjunction with a retail holiday marketplace event featuring CBD products and open to consumers.

All buyers and sellers for the hemp auction will be vetted, pre-registration opens on Sept. 16th
