This morning we’re joined by Dr Matikora Marea & her husband Marea Taomati, who developed the first ever Kiribati language app ‘Te Taetae n Kiribati’. 

Matikora Worked as a Medical doctor for about 6 years back in Kiribati prior to moving to New Zealand in 2006 in search for a better education and future for our family. 

Marea Taomati is qualified in developing Website, Desktop and Mobile Applications. 

Together they worked to create this first ever mobile app in the Kiribati Language and hope this will assist so many and particularly help preserve our Kiribati Language
