As the economic crisis, created by the onset of the Corona Virus, the working men and women of our country have felt the brunt of this full stop in industry and commerce.

On Thursday an all time record was set for the most number of workers lay-ed off from work. 6.6 million people paraded through the unemployment offices. The most number ever in the 75 years that we've been keeping record of these things.

Then on Friday we saw yet another dramatic drop in the labor market as company payrolls dropped another 7 million employees.

No matter how you cut it, these are stark numbers for the working people of this country. And it certainly doesn't bode well for the rest of this year.
