This summer we are going to study the book of 1 John. 1 John was written by John, the beloved follower of Jesus, who also wrote the gospel of John and Revelation. The first few verses we will study today give us a clue to what this book is all about. Our relationship with Jesus is not meant to be cerebral only, but is meant to be encountered, experienced and expressed. God is ready to reveal Himself to those who are ready to respond to Him in faith and obedience.
