First Lie/Last Lie

<p>Paul Schindler performed all the vocals, joined by a backup singer who prefers anonymity. Jordan Grigg arranged episodes 1,2,3,4 and 7. My anonymous collaborator (who wrote all the melodies) arranged episodes 6 and 8. The novelty episodes, 5 and 10, simply feature piano accompaniment by Nathan Joseph.</p><p>Since January 2020, I have been writing love poems to my wife of 43 years, then paying a musician to put them to music. He wishes to remain anonymous. I honestly believe these songs have brought, and might continue to bring, some joy (or in the case of Wounded Bird, some solace) to people in these difficult times.</p>
