The idea of being on the fence about a certain topic may not have huge consequences for us in our every day lives. We may be weighing options, trying to see both sides or still gathering the facts. When Jesus says you are neither cold nor hot, but lukewarm Christians, there are big consequences! Like, making him want to vomit. That is a pretty clear picture, he doesn’t want us on the fence with our faith, He is looking for pure devotions to Him.
