Number 14:18  says ‘The LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ Oftentimes we deal with emotions, issues and habits that we don't fully understand and that we know aren't healthy. We get so stuck on the notion that, "That's just how I am..." not realizing that who you are is a result of the decisions that were made before you were even a thought. It doesn't stop at generational alcoholism or addiction. Generational curses can penetrate the way you communicate and even the way you love. Being a curse breaker doesn't just mean to be different from your parents. It requires you know what they're inadvertently passing on and making sure you're ready to push back.
