As we begin a new year, it's time to examine where our priorities truly lie. Many people invite Jesus into their lives but don't allow Him to be Lord over everything. True faith means entering His kingdom, not just inviting Him into the cleaned-up areas of our lives. Matthew 6:33 commands us to seek God's kingdom first, and He will provide everything we need. Three key principles guide right priorities: obedience brings us under God's care, our capacity follows our priorities, and right seeking requires right motives. We must let go of control and stop holding onto things that aren't of God's kingdom to experience His provision, peace, and purpose.
