We’re letting the Gospel of Luke show us what a prayer-formed life looks like, watching Jesus pray in glory & in weakness, in public and in secret.

 

This week, Ladaea Rylander will preach Cross-Shaped Prayer from Luke 9, where Jesus is transfigured in glory while already walking the road toward the cross. We will see that our adoption as beloved sons & daughters is secure, yet not soft. In that story, prayer becomes the way we stay with Jesus in the tension of glory and suffering, mountain & descent.

 

Together we will explore what it means to bring our ordinary struggles & costly yeses into God’s presence, so that even the hard parts of our week become places where Jesus meets us, forms us, & shares His life with us.
