There is a huge difference between knowing about someone and actually knowing someone. Especially in this age of social media, it’s increasingly different for us sometimes to distinguish between those two things in our relationships. If we aren’t careful, we can assume that we have a relationship with folks that we actually don’t have. It’s also easy for us to assume that we have a relationship with God that we don’t have.
