Our guest for this episode is newcomer Leon Chills. While working on Wall Street, Leon discovered his passion for screenwriting. And since making the shift, he has gone on to tell stories across multiple platforms - such as SPINNING OUT on Netflix, THE WILDS on Amazon Prime, ICON AND ROCKET for DC Comics, and DC UNIVERSE ONLINE (video game).
More recently Leon's first spec sale with SHADOW FORCE to Lionsgate, is set to release in theaters on May 9th, 2025 - starring Kerry Washington and Omar Sy. No matter the platform, the foundational principle to all of Leon's work is putting Black characters at the forefront of genres they are normally pushed aside in.
