This episode is a two part series. In part one, I reflect back to when I started my teaching career and I offer  my listeners a couple of suggestions that have impacted my work over the years. I also talk specifically about those qualities/characteristics found in a few of my favorite mentor teachers. These qualities were especially helpful during the first few years of my teaching career.
