America's government has lost the people's confidence, and that's why politicians use their power to retain their power. Our government recently passed legislation to surreptitiously spy without a court order worldwide on foreign governments because of an imminent emergency. The World may not look at America as a successful nation but as a failing one. Even though our politicians claim the American people aren't being searched, listened to, or surveilled without a court order, the truth would suggest otherwise.
