Yesterday we had our first Facts and Figures State of the Market Call, and I have to say, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We really try and set out to provide as much value to our real estate partners as possible, and being able to provide so much insight into the current happenings of the real estate market in less than 15 minutes is exactly the sort of medium producing agents want for staying in the know.
As a special thank you for all of our Morning Shot listeners, I wanted to share with you a short portion of yesterday's call to provide you with some flavor for what these calls have to offer.
- Some numbers for everyone on to think about courtesy of the National Association of Realtors…
- 90% of homebuyers are in the research and educational phase of the purchase cycle (6-12 months), and 10% are in the transaction phase, meaning they are buying in the immediate future;
- Think about where you are spending your time…
- Very few real estate agents spend time capturing buyers and sellers in the research and educational phase;
- As a result, agents spend 98% of their time and money competing for that 10% of the market that's in the transaction phase;
- So, the true opportunity for business growth lies within cultivating prospective clients in the education and research phase…which is the path least explored.
Folks this is what this call and the Morning Shot is all about – being able to speak to clients in the research and educational phase, and separating ourselves from the crowd by going where most don't even think to go. Why fish with everyone else when we can have an entire lake for ourselves?
