Sometimes when we want to be seen by those in our life we care about the most, we put on layer after layer hiding beneath our roles. On September 12, 2021, we looked at John 21, where there is a line that has always made me wonder a bit. A group of disciples is out fishing when Jesus appears on the shore. Peter puts on his clothes to swim to Jesus. Peter often mixes things up a bit. We explored what it means to have to strip from the layers that appear to protect us, that are really in our way, the role of vulnerability, and why you might consider fishing naked.
