The key to any good sales campaign is customer research. 

You need to know where your customers are on their journey. You also need to figure out where you want to jump in—are you marketing to beginners or advanced buyers?

Because a key to a successful sales message is tapping into existing knowledge. If your audience is already educated on what you’re selling, it’s that much easier to sell to them. 

This where it’s useful to check out what they’ve been buying from your competition!
