HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH! In this episode, Jayde discusses being Black in America & asking any and everyone to save their complaints about all of the extra blackness that is going to be served up hot and steamy on a platter this month. Seriously, it is just one month - the month with the least amount of days at that. Jayde is asking for everyone to learn to appreciate, love, support, and encourage those who have been oppressed, those who used to be considered a fraction of a person, and those who struggled to learn that they are enough just the way they are - due to slavery, as well as systemic and institutionalized racism. Unpack the invisible knapsack of White Privilege and don't shed any white tears this Black History Month! Let's talk about it.
