In many families, poverty is a cycle. A legacy of debt, poor financial habits, and a lack of education is passed down from one generation to the next. The Bible tells us that God wants to redeem and restore all things. Building generational wealth is an act of spiritual warfare against that curse. It’s about breaking the chains of financial struggle and setting your family on a new, prosperous path. Proverbs 22:6 tells us, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” You’re not just leaving them a will; you’re leaving them a blueprint for a life of financial freedom.

It should impact at least three generations: yours, your children’s, and your grandchildren’s. It’s a long-term play.

And here’s the thing: God himself is a multi-generational God. He’s called the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So, building generational wealth isn’t just popular; it’s a biblical principle. It’s about being a good steward of what you’ve been given, not just for yourself, but for those who come after you.
