One centurion observed how Jesus treated His family, friends, and enemies. He was moved by the compassion and forgiveness He had for them. Another centurion discovered the importance of listening to the inward perception of the Holy Spirit. We learn that the sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s prompting can and must be developed. Otherwise, we will end up in the middle of many storms we could have completely avoided.
