Hello and a very warm welcome to Five in the Eye. It’s Phil Woodford back in the hotseat this week - thanks so much to ‘Judge’ Bob McAra and Olu Olake for standing in for me over the past couple of weeks. You’re listening to episode 0344 of Colourful Radio’s weekly news review show.

And joining Phil via Zoom this week, it’s me - Michael Ohajuru - looking forward to looking back at some of the stories that have caught our eye. And top of the list is harassment of Keir Starmer on the streets of Westminster by an angry mob and the Tories’ inability to accept even partial responsibility for the events. Has the concept of shame now disappeared?

For story number two this week, we ask whether we’re now back to normal after all the disruption of Covid. And if we’re not, what exactly will ‘normal’ look like?
MICHAEL
At three this week, it’s the super-rich. No, not the likes of Phil. I’m talking about Jeff Bezos - a man so rich he can have a bridge dismantled to move his superyacht through Rotterdam - and Elon Musk, who apparently objects to having the movements of his private jet tracked.

For number four, it’s the culture secretary Nadine Dorries and her bizarre TV interviews.
MICHAEL
And to cap off the show, what about the guy who was booked for allegedly doing… wait for it… 260 mph on a German Autobahn.

He wanted to get home to listen to this week’s Five in the Eye!
