Timothy Paul Jones (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary), author of Understanding Christian Apologetics, is the C. Edwin Gheens professor of Christian family ministry, director of the Center for Christian Apologetics, and chair of the Department of Apologetics, Ethics, and Philosophy at The
Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is author or editor of more than a dozen books. He serves as a preaching pastor at Sojourn Church in Midtown and cohosts The Apologetics Podcast.
