Five Minute Friday is a new segment where Harrison, a member/intern at First Baptist Cleveland, will look at the mission of the church throughout her history from a gospel centered point of view! In this episode Harrison tells the story of one of the more famous 21st century American Missionaries, Jim Elliot. Jim Elliot once stated, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” To some, Jim gave up everything and gained nothing. But to Jim and Elizabeth the treasures of this world were worth giving up to proclaim the riches of the glory of Christ till death brought them to their heavenly home.
