The Prosperity Gospel that claims, "come to God because He wants to prosper you," is a false gospel. However, to say that God does not want to prosper those that repent of their sin and put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ is also a false teaching. For the believer who has been born again, it is God's great pleasure to prosper His children. Like anything else in the Kingdom of God, however, it requires faith on our part.
