I think one of the most difficult and complex processes for a recruiter is to find the right talent for the job. Companies organize their operations into job roles, and these job roles are given specific domains of knowledge and skills that are required. I feel the job of a recruiter is to find individuals with the skills and the people skills capable of performing successfully in those roles. The recruiter becomes the champion for the candidates he represents with the hiring manager. This process of championing will not go away. The recruiter must understand how the candidate will perform in the job his has champion. There is a risk that after a specific time, the candidate, if selected for the job, will leave the company. Therefore, it is the job of the recruiter to paint a word picture of the future incentives for the future candidate to understand. This is offset by the credibility of the promises of future incentives that the recruiter promised to keep the candidate. I believe that AI can help in assessing the candidates’ skills and talents for working with team members.
