Brooke Ritchie is a mindset coach who helps entrepreneurs overcome money mindset blocks. She has a Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology and worked as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She has professional training in massage therapy, bodywork, somatic experiencing, and energy work - among many other approaches. She owned and operated her own business as a yoga and dance instructor for a decade and brings both mindfulness as well as somatic approaches to her group coaching and one on one work. She is also licensed as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and is trained in Deep Transformational Coaching. She became interested in money mindset specifically to support entrepreneurs in earning their true potential.
In this episode, Brooke shares how our brain keeps going back to the same thought patterns repeatedly. And these are usually negative ones. And unless we try to reprogram the subconscious, that’s when we get past those limiting beliefs. Her story of fighting off the imposter syndrome is one proof that getting yourself to take action fights off negativity in your mind and body, pushing you forward for success. The only way not to fall back to your brain’s old programming or whenever it is showing signs of it getting around is by a repetition of positive affirmation towards yourself. It takes repeated actions to form new neural pathways to the brain to do away with negativity. We have to acknowledge the fact that our beliefs manifest in all areas of our life. It mirrors our reality. What we make ourselves believe to be true is what will run our lives. Gratitude practice, affirmation, and shadow work are just some of the routines that help switch directions. As entrepreneurs, it is best to always look at the frame of success.
