Course Description

  • This course is designed as a capstone course for Modern Languages with a concentration in Spanish.  Students will complete various components during their final semester of coursework.  These components will be used to complete both a portfolio and a final oral presentation with an accompanying abstract.
  • Course Objectives

    • Students will demonstrate advanced-low proficiency based on the compilation of various written, oral, and multimodal artifacts and will produce at the advanced low level for oral proficiency during their final oral presentation.
    • Student Learning Outcomes

      By the end of the course, students will have produced their own course portfolio that includes reflection essays, narrative essays and other artifacts that demonstrate their proficiency at the advanced low level in Spanish.  Students will be required to complete a final oral presentation with an abstract for Modern Languages faculty and the EMLJ chair.
