Flash flooding swept through Melbourne's Dudley Street underpass near Festival Hall, trapping two vehicles in rapidly rising floodwaters. Drivers became stuck after following other vehicles through the water, not realising the danger until it was too late. The RACV warns that just 15 centimetres of fast-moving water can move a car sideways.
