Barry struggles to train the overeager Nora, who enlists herself as a CSI intern in order to spend time with her father, much to Iris's discomfort. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Ralph try to help Cisco in the aftermath of his breakup with Gypsy, and Cecile loses her telepathy and struggles to connect with her child. Furthermore, a new meta called Block, who can create blocks of dense air, starts robbing from arms dealers and, while trying to stop her, the team has their first encounter with Cicada, the masked man who killed Gridlock.
