Bonus show! This Flashback Friday episode of TMHS dives into creative kids as students and how we can serve them better. By now, you know that the central focus of my passion and mission is cultivating creativity. I believe that is especially important involving children; if we can encourage the creative spark in the kids, then we will inevitably have creatively inclined adults. I figure if I can relay some of my childhood experiences, then I can shed some light on the situations and individuals that relate to my story. As I've said, I do not have a particularly unique experience, but for that very reason, I must share what I've learned about my past so that others may process and progress as well. I hope that by reflecting on how my life has gone that I can give a voice to the voiceless, especially those that were once the loudest but have since been silenced.
