Ceramic artist and metal sculptor Maureen Seamonds is a dear friend from Webster City, Iowa, who is also a celebrated teacher and catalyst for community art. People come into Mo’s rural downtown studio and ask what she’s making. They don't much care what she says, Mo commented, “but meanwhile they’ll touch the work, or hug it, or drape an arm across it. They really know it.
