The friction of living for God in a culture of compromise is common to us all. As a result, in every person’s life, there will be defining moments that can also be flashpoints. At the moment when things flare up, decisions must be made quickly and decisively. Yet the outcomes of those decisions have a tendency to linger well after the moment of crisis. We will see one of those flashpoints when the prophet Daniel’s friends end up on a collision course with the anger of a violent king. But Jesus is real!
