Dominic Parker is a Company Director and inventor of Flat Cats a simple yet effective screen helping people with indoor cats open their windows but keep their cats safe.Brought up in Birmingham he spent nearly 30 years in retail banking before moving into marketingand manufacturing his own product, Flat Cats in 2007, they have now been trading for nearly 18 years. He started the business on his own and then with his wife Rachel and later they took on staff andpremises and now have a staff of 6 and operate from a 4000 square foot unit in Sleaford Lincolnshire where we manufacture and sell worldwide. The business has grown steadily and current sells around 16,000 units per annum worldwide. The main reason they created the product was because he had a problem with his house getting really warm and he couldnât find anything online to help, so he made it myself. He worked on the basis that he couldnât be the only person with this problem so decided to have a go at manufacturingand selling the product and thankfully what he suspected turned out to be correct.Dominic's background was in retail banking prior to Flat Cats both in London and Birmingham with Lloyds Bank and Cheltenham & Gloucester plc.He is 62 years old, lives in Sleaford, Lincolnshire and try and spend as much time as possible in Spain when not working.
I do not have any paid partnership with Cat Flat I just think what they are doing is great and I would like more cats to be safe.
