Welcome back to Flex This!
I am stoked to be going into the sixth season and third year of the Flex This podcast. It is hard to believe Flex This just had its three-year anniversary. My vision with Flex This was to share conversations with folks exploring what it means to be a person while normalizing none of us really know what we are doing and we are all doing our best with the tools we currently have to navigate from the lens we see the world. I wanted listeners to hear a version of themselves and their own stories through voices doing the work of becoming the best most authentic version of themselves.
Authenticity is a verb and isn’t something you become overnight. It requires self-love to hold yourself accountable to being a disciple of your own journey through curiosity and without judgment. A self-love that has an innate knowing of your value and worth. And, in that knowing, chooses to see every wound discovered and trigger tempting us to live unaligned to our values as another opportunity to grow into a deeper understanding of who we truly are.
I am honored for the conversations I have with the people who join me on Flex This and to privilege of bearing witness to them sharing the work they do every day to heal the things that get in the way of them living an authentic life.
