Emma Smith, producer of First Drop, as part of the Screen Territory SPARK short film initiative, visited the Big Brekky Show. Set in Alice Springs, Ted, a reclusive and bitter retiree, is tasked with caring for his Pakistani neighbour's 10-year-old daughter, Saleha, played by Thamanna Shihab, who also chatted with us about the film. Local director Damon van der Shuit will also be at the Flickerfest screening on this Friday at Araluen Arts Centre, after having won the SPARK competition at Darwin International Film Festival.
