Disney hit us with this surprise of the 80’s that’s faded out into obscurity, unfortunately. 

David is picked up in 1978 by an alien spaceship, that takes him to another planet for study at just under the speed of light. When it returns, it’s as if he’s never aged – except tha it’s now 8 years later, and the year is 1986.
