Flintlock Misses the Mark
Normally, Johnstone is one of the most reliable western writers in the market, but he slips up big time here. Flintlock isn't an interesting character, and comes across as poorly sketched and an undesirable main character. I'm going to skip any more books in this series and go back to Johnstone's other great westerns.
Good Read
A good read, as are all of Johnstone's books.
Kill or Die
One of the better Westerns I have read in a long, long time. A fast pace, great characters and enough humor to make you like the two main characters.
Flintlock at his best
Great fun read you get to know flintlock & o hara,as a team you want to stay with
Good Western
A good writer. Plenty of action. His descriptions tend to be on the gross side. A bit unnecessary for the story but then that is the style of this author.
