Greg has apparently mastered his first magic trick: the disappearing act.
With Greg off on vacation, Ken is flying solo this week with a packed episode of the Flip N Out Pinball Podcast.
Then Ken gets a little more thoughtful about something that came up this week: what does it actually mean to be a valued customer? Price and discounts are easy to see, but there's a whole lot of value in a good distributor relationship that never shows up on an invoice. Ken shares his perspective from both sides of the counter, including customer expectations, loyalty, trust, service after the sale, and why sometimes the best advice he can give a potential customer is to keep buying from the distributor they already have.
October has arrived, which means the Flip N Out Pinball Podcast officially becomes FRIGHT N OUT!
Turn down the lights as we close the show with the first tale from Fright N Out:
Grandpa's Pinball Machine
Something has been sitting quietly in that basement for a very long time.
Maybe it wasn't as quiet as everyone thought. And finally... Ken provides updates on games currently in stock, what's shipping now, and what customers can expect in the weeks ahead.

With the final months of 2026 upon us, Ken and Greg break out the crystal ball and take a look at what the pinball industry might still have up its sleeve before the year comes to a close.
The guys start with the reaction to Stern Pinball's Fallout before working their way around the industry, talking production schedules, rumored titles, possible remasters, upcoming releases and what we could see from Stern, Jersey Jack Pinball, Spooky Pinball, Barrels of Fun, American Pinball, Multimorphic, Pedretti Gaming and more.
Could Stern have another remastered title coming? What games deserve the remake treatment? Could a Treehouse of Horror version of The Simpsons Pinball Party be the greatest idea nobody asked for? And just how many NEW pinball titles will be announced before the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve?
Ken and Greg set the over/under, make their predictions and probably create a few rumors along the way.
It's Episode 29 of the Flip N Out Pinball Podcast: Pinball's Year-End Crystal Ball!

Stern Pinball has officially revealed Fallout, the highly anticipated new game from Keith Elwin and team, and we're breaking it all down in this special FIRST LOOK edition of the Flip N Out Pinball Podcast. Ken and Greg take you through all three models, pricing, artwork, major playfield features, and some of the biggest differences between the Pro, Premium and Limited Edition. We're talking about the Fat Man cannon, the Wasteland Shooting Gallery, the inverted flipper, Magna Flip lower playfield, Deathclaw bash toy, Nuka-Cola bottle cap spinner, that incredible Pip-Boy display, and one of our favorite features of the entire game: the massive interactive VAULT DOOR. So which model would we choose? Does the Premium justify the jump? And could Fallout represent a new benchmark for what players expect from Stern going forward? This is a FIRST LOOK, not a full review. We've had some early hands-on exposure to the game, but we'll save the deeper gameplay and rules analysis until we've had significant time with Fallout. Let us know in the comments: PRO, PREMIUM or LE? What feature has you most excited? Is Fallout living up to the hype?

American Pinball has officially pulled back the curtain on its reimagining of the Bally classic Cirqus Voltaire! Ken and Greg take a first look at both the Classic and Ringmaster Editions, break down what's new, talk pricing, features, artwork, and that wild interactive topper, and share their initial reactions to this new chapter for American Pinball.
Classic or Ringmaster? Let's talk about it. Order your new Cirqus Voltaire today at https://www.flipnoutpinball.com/
Ken and Greg are back from a road trip to Spooky Pinball, and while there are plenty of things they can't talk about just yet, they can at least say they left Benton with smiles on their faces.
The guys recap the trip, talk about what's happening behind the scenes at Spooky, give some love to Luke and the crew, and revisit an incredible night that ended with someone walking away with a FREE Beetlejuice pinball machine.
Plus, Keith Elwin dropped a very interesting Total Recall image this morning. Is Stern making a Total Recall pinball machine...or is Keith trying to tell us something else? Ken did a little detective work, and two words might explain the whole thing: two weeks.
There's also some Patreon talk, pinball news, terrible Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions, and the usual assortment of nonsense!

Three new games. Two days. Plenty of opinions. This week we're catching up after one of the wildest stretches the pinball industry has seen all year. We dive into the launches of Dungeon Crawler Carl, Ender's Game, and Bon Jovi, discuss why some first impressions completely changed after seeing the games in action, recap the buzz coming out of Gen Con and Southern Fried Gaming Expo, and touch on Sonic's momentum, new announcements from American Pinball, and what could be next for the hobby. It's an honest, unscripted conversation with a few laughs mixed in, just the way we like it.

Welcome back to another episode of the Flip N Out Pinball Podcast!
This week, we find ourselves cruising straight into what may be the Pinball Bermuda Triangle...a place where rumors, speculation, and "inside information" seem to disappear, reappear, and somehow change every time someone tells the story.
With Dungeon Crawler Carl rumors heating up, we discuss how difficult it has become to separate fact from fiction and why patience is sometimes the hardest part of being a pinball enthusiast.
We also share our thoughts on Stern Pinball's Transformers Pro, discuss why game code can make or break a machine over time, revisit the launch of Jersey Jack Pinball's Sonic the Hedgehog, and talk about one of the more unique ideas we've seen in the hobby...a pinball cruise! *Dungeon Crawler Carl teaser artwork appears in this thumbnail for commentary purposes. Original artwork was publicly shared on Facebook by Matt Dinniman.
