In the Bible, God reveals Himself as One who rebuilds what’s been burned, broken, and abandoned. In Ezra 1–2, a ruined city, a destroyed temple, and a scattered people all raise the same question: Can what was lost really be restored? As God calls His people back, He doesn’t just rebuild a building – He erases their shame, challenges their comfort, and confronts the cost of following Him again. What if the very places you assume are beyond repair are exactly where God wants to start building?
