Top Gun: Maverick surpasses its original film in so many ways, and it looks to leave a bigger mark at the box office. While Brayan Mendoza likes the original, he does agree with the sentiment. The film deconstructs nostalgia, and emotionally charged trauma with great action scenes sprinkled in.
