Services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Instant are great if you are Paramount or Universal, but what if you are a small, independent filmmaker? How can you get your content onto the web without just giving your content over to YouTube and hoping it plays? Also, how can you monetize your content?
FLM.TV has created a platform exactly for this purpose. Publishers can add content and charge a fee to watch it. Along with standard publishing, there is a concept for party watching, allowing a group of people to watch together, including with the publisher. This is a great way for the filmmaker to get feedback on the content being shown. The creators and cast could even create a live Q&A session through the system.
